High-energy or not, kids need to be allowed to be who they are — for all of our sakes

Here is the first of a three part series on the vastly different experiences kids can have, even in the same classroom, simply because of their energy levels.   In this first part, meet my son, Beau, and his best friend, Willa.  These two are different as different can be and better little people because they have each other.  But will their differences be appreciated when they get to school in a few years?  Probably not, and that is a tragedy.
